Textile dying and batch variations

It is a complicated process creating the perfect color. It involves a lot of different aspects, that all have their own influence on the results. If our textiles were not dyed, we could not create our colourful and lively textile collection. Dyeing a textile can be done in three different ways, 

Material dyeing, is the process where the base material of the textile e.g. raw cotton og wool fibers, are dyed before the yarn is created. 

Yarn dyeing, is the process where the natural coloured yarn is dyed to the desired color before the textile is weaved.

Piece dyeing, is the process where the natural coloured yarn is woven into the desired pattern which is then dyed. 

What is common for all dyeing process is that slight color variations will occur from one production batch to another. Depending on the dyeing process, the desired color, and the fiber composition the shade difference can be more extensive.
